From April 1 to April 13, the Spurs have eight games -- four sets of backtobacks. That's going to be a rough stretch for all the players, but particularly the bigmen if Duncan is still out.

    Sat 2 L.A. Lakers 7:30pm KRRT NBATV+Telemundo

Well the Spurs are going to still need to play well with Duncan out. Duncan might be out four weeks ... that's near the end of the regular season. They can't go into the playoffs without any sort of momentum at all.

What sucks is Parker and Ginobili will be dead tired if they have to carry the Spurs through this stretch. Duncan takes a lot of pressure off the whole team. Without him, this team can win but will use a lot of energy in doing so.

"sucks is Parker and Ginobili will be dead tired if they have to carry the Spurs through this stretch."

Then it won't suck, because Tony is backed very solidly by Beno (can Dion run some point?), and Manu has Brent, Devin.

The losses @PHX and @DET showed the Spurs have plenty of talent and an excellent system in place. All they have to do is step it up, and execute.

I really trust the Spurs to realize the gravity of the situation (a fantastic season by a Championship-caliber team slipping away), and respond like Champs.

only 2 of those games worry me without Tim, vs. Dallas & @ Denver.

But playing against Seatle and Houston w/out Tim will be a !
