A woman was injured while crossing Zarzamora Street shortly after she called 911 to report being raped Monday morning, police said.
Police were searching for two men — the alleged rapist and the driver of a red pickup who fled on foot after his vehicle hit the woman at Zarzamora and Leal streets.
“These are two separate suspects in two separate offenses,” San Antonio Police Sgt. April us said.
The woman reported the rape about 9 a.m. but was not home when police arrived to investigate. Officers found her when called to a hit-and-run shortly afterward.
