    http://www.crocketteers.com/2009/05/...t-year-or-two/

While reading through our Forum on bigsoccer.com, an Aztex supporter and member of Chantico’s Army (a supporter group of the USL First Division Austin Aztex), let the Crocketteers know what Aztex head coach Adrian Heath said about San Antonio on his weekly show on AM 1300 The Zone in Austin, TX.
San Antonio…. I don’t know if a lot of people are aware of this. The San Antonio Spurs are actually bringing a team to San Antonio in the next year or two. That’s been confirmed.
Listen to sound byte: Aztex Coach Adrian Heath on San Antonio in the USL
    “That’s been confirmed.”
With the Austin Aztex now confirming that San Antonio will be in the leauge in the next year or two, we now have three credible sources stating that the San Antonio Spurs are indeed looking to bring professional soccer to the Alamo City.

The Austin Aztex Coaches Show on AM 1300 The Zone with coach Adrian Heath runs Wednesday evenings from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

The USL teams had a better showing than the MLS teams in the CONCACAF Champions League.

That way when the Peter Holt sells the team in 20 yrs, the new owner can move all the sports in San Antonio away at once!

    lol.

I can just see Holt's sales pitch --

    Ladies and Gentleman,

Have you ever wanted to have your own sports franchise? Have you ever thought Spokane, Des Moines, or Albuquerque could be the next major sports mecca, if only they had a team?

Well Guess what, now you can! With Peter Holt's Franchise in a Box, you too can piss off the NBA commissioner as you move the Spurs to an even smaller market. You like WNBA, USL, Minor League Ice Hockey? no, well neither do the people of San Antonio, but you can keep it running for years with Gimmicks and give aways..
