This staged "statement" coming up seems very much like the one Michael Jackson did during his molestation scandal. I think this is only going to hurt him in the long run.

PGA Tour just shuddered when he said "I don't know when I will return to golf, it may be this year."
We all make mistakes, granted adultery is inexcusable in my book but it does happen and there are pro athletes who have done worse who are still playing and enjoying the fruits of their labor. I'll be watching when he returns to the PGA tour.

Just come out and start playing golf, and if the press asks you what happened just tell them you ed a bunch of women and cheated on your wife. Who cares. People still watch Charlie Sheen's show and he took a knife to his wife's throat. They don't need statements. Just come out and play golf. People like John Daly because he s up and doesn't need statements.
