Did Pop or someone in the FO assume that because Bogans almost sounds like Bowen and both guys are bald that they'd be the same caliber of player/defender? I'm still dumbfounded...

its simple..word on the street is that both Malik and Ian declined Pop's invitation to the stage 6 (final stage) of new spurs orientation, which is as per the classified official spurs manual) led 'evening with pop' which consisted of showing up at Pop's place, partaking in a wine-tasting session, watching old championship dvds with personal narrations by pop highlighting his genius, then retiring to the jacuzzi with pop (thongs only)....supposedly Malik and Ian showed up late one night and basically entered the ackward situation of seeing a liquered-up pop in his private jacuzzi , along with a drunk and bethonged finley, bonner, and the new recruit Bogans, all laughing giddily with pop. Malik and Ian left immediately disgusted, on their way out told Theo what they saw as he was waliking up the driveway, the 3 of them left...next practice Pop told them to forget what they saw that night..and he never trusted them from that point on.

I think signing Bogans is ok, as well as signing Ratliff.

The problem is that these signing is useless if you do a x for 1 follow-on big trade.
