I set it to record and it cut off the last minute of the show. It stopped when Meredith was hugging her mother.. can someone please tell me what happened from there?!!

Well it's in it's third season so if you start watching it now you won't really understand the storylines but it's basically like ER... I don't know, give it a shot. The end of season two is what really got me watching. I never really watched the first season.

don't get me wrong, I like Grey's Anatomy, its an ok show, but don't compare it to ER because its not half the show ER is.
Calm down Clooney.. I simply meant it's like ER in that it takes place in a hospital and the stories are about the lives of the doctors and patients. I didn't intend to start a debate on how good Grey's Anatomy is or isn't. I just want to know wtf happened at the end of tonight's show!

I don't think anything happened at the end. The last thing I remember is Meredith hugging her mom and that was it. I always set the DVR for a minute over any show because for some reason it always cuts off the end.
I don't think it comes out next week though because there wasn't a preview.
Sorry but ER went out the door when Michael Chrichton quit writing the stuff ... Which was awhile ago.
