Oh... minutes played... then it makes sense. I thought it was about Win Shares (or other W-L metrics). That would be nicer to see actually.
Zoom in and try to pick out Jeff Lobo or Matt Othick...

that's actually really cool
should be in silver and black though, i hate those colors
I found Waldo... errr I mean DerMarr Johnson.
Nice. It seems that Tony Parker will probably retire as the Spurs' all-time leader in minutes played, assuming he stays a Spur his whole career (and retires around 35).
Dude, where's my Dwayne Schintzius?
Mengke Batteer is still tiny even after zooming in all the way!!
I'm surprised Manu is so small compared to the rest of the "lead" guys, including Bruce. Even though Manu joined the Spurs quite late, it does go to show he got hurt quite a bit!
It would indeed be most interesting to compare this against a career win-shares chart...

I wonder whether colour allocation was random or depending on some algorithm. Interestingly, DRob & Duncan (the more reserved, bread-and-butter players) are in pink, Manu and Gervin (the flamboyant players) are in orange, while Sean Elliott and Parker (in-between) are in blue.
wow
that´s NBA Electronic Art
Nice!
I guess Michael Finley's name couldn't fit on the page.
edit: oh there it is -- i don't know why I thought it'd be about the same size as Brent Barry's [:stirring pot way after the fact]
Cool stuff!
Other teams: http://hoopism.com/TeamsWordCloud/
Right below Ed Nealy and Donald Royal.
Now, anybody find Zarko Paspaj?
Edit: Who the was Donald Royal?
The Orange Team versus the Teal Team would be pretty compe ive.
I'm pretty sure it's based on categories: the leaders in minutes (a.k.a tier 1) are Robinson and Duncan (pink), then tier-2 of minutes played with guys like Parker, Elliott and so on (teal), then a notch below the orange players (Gervin or Manu, who had his minutes limited either by injury or by Pop). Lather, rinse, repeat.
Here's an updated version:
Matt Bonner
Tiago Splitter
