let me be the first one to agree with you.
Let me be the first to eat crow on my assumption that Joe Johnson would force Tony Parker into a more difficult time on the offensive end. Tony seemed to take it as a personal challenge to show that he can get to the rim no matter who guards him on the perimeter.
I'm glad to see him have such a positive showing in the face of a defensive adjustment placed on him.
let me be the first one to agree with you.
A few of us doubted Johnson would have any effect on Parker defensively. He isn't super long, and he isn't super quick, which is what you need if you want to stick a taller player on Tony.
Tony brought his game on tonight!
Tony looked like in the 4th when Joe Johnson was on him.
Im not tooting the Tony Parker horn just yet.
Tony was beat up tonight, while the refs were watching the Coyote. And the Spurs just stayed focused, and cool like a Champion.
Joe Johnson can't guard TP he is way too fast for him.
Joe Johnson is long enough, but not quick enough to guard TP, plus you need a good pick-and-roll defense, not the Sun's expertise.
Upmost respect for you. Refreshing to see someone admit when they were wrong.
The first quarter showed Johnson was helpless at defending Tony because of Parker ability to blow right past him. After that, he backed way off of him. Then Parker had the jump shot all night but didn't need to use it much.

I hope Eva's not pissed at Tony since he was ing Joe Johnson all night.
If you believe the rumors about her, she's probably had a slice of JJ anyway.
