lolz sons cheers! here's to watching Timmy D struggle to put up 10 and 6 next season!

by the way, at the same age ... Karl Malone was dropping 27 and 10

You got no room. Your biggest claim to fame is winning game One. After that you crawled back into the caca whence you came.

Where did that 27 and 10 average get Karl Malone's stat padding ass in the Playoffs? Oh yeah, nowhere!

I disagree. Kobe is still on top of his game and is still worth that KT. TD? Not so much. Even in his 15th year, it can be legitimately argued that Kobe is still the best SG in the game. Can you say the same about TD at PF? No you can't. TD is lucky NBA doesn't employ NFL type KTs, tbh.

I hear what you are saying though.

On a regular day would you give Kobe 30 million/annum? Of course not. That's a nuclear bomb. 20, 25 tops. Let's be realistic, Kobe isn't on the top of his game anymore

Will he still be on top of his game at 35? ing no.

Can you start naming those reasons one by one?

David Robinson could own David West still...

Tim will just do his victory lap and bust out to the islands.

Tim Duncan won 4 ing Championships. That's more than the Hornets, Suns, Mavericks, Bucks, Magic, Jazz, Pacers, Nuggets, Nets, Kings, Raptors, Grizzlies, Clippers, Timberwolves, Cavaliers, Bobcats, Hawks, and Heat COMBINED.

    In their entire ing histories!

    Bow down to Tim Duncan.

You say that why - because he doesn't dunk 10 times a game like D-Whistle? Kobe's jumper is going NOWHERE fast. As long as he has that jumper and the Lakers have a strong inside game, he can continue to put up numbers and close games/series for the Lakers. This alone makes him worth his KT.

Oh, and at 35, Bynum will be 26 and in his prime (if D12 is not in P&G). In either case, Bynum or D12 will be option #1 in the offense. Kobe's jumper will still be wet enough to provide spacing for either of them to do damage down low.

Watch how he gets blown by defenders as more often as compared to before. It's not all about the hops. Lateral movement, first-step explosion, etc. Since you brought about hops, surely Okafor and Landry can certify that he still has mad hops

What a lot of other teams' fans don't get is that we Spurs fans don't abandon our franchise players when they reach retirement age. David Robinson is still as great to us as he ever was, maybe even more so.

Lakers fans abandoned Magic like he had AIDS.
