Sure. Why not?
Best wishes for a speedy recovery, timvp.
Some of you might know, but for the many who don't -- my husband (timvp) has been in the hospital for two weeks.
What seemed like the flu a month ago, progressed into a massive liver abcsess (over 5 inches wide), pneumonia/lung infection and more caused by a very unsusual bacteria. Last Monday in ICU, the doctors told us that he might not make it. As you can imagine, it was a really rough time for us. Through his strength and the support of many people, he began making baby steps of progress.
He fought through the days and nights -- trying hard to force air into his lungs to keep them going and to get the infection out of his body.
Now, things are improving day by day. We have some final hurdles to get through, so that's why I'm asking now for prayers and good thoughts from the SpursTalk family.
It should go without saying, but this thread is absolutely not a place to troll. We need him well. He has a wife, three babies, and plenty of other friends and family who want and need him to be healthy.
Thanks for your support.

This is sobering to anyone who thinks about it. We are, most of us, very lucky most of the time.
Kori, I don't know you all but I know that you all are relatively young, and that makes it all the scarier.
Please know that our prayers are with you all...all.
I hope he recovers swiftly and in good health.
Post some updates when you can kori
He is in my prayers. Keep us updated on his progress.
Pneumonia is no joke; gave my father and I partial asthma a few years back. Have faith, though - antibiotics are also no joke these days, and a few weeks of Vancomycin can do amazing things...
Kori,
See my response on the spurs forum...but thanks for updating here as well.
