You guys have a vested interest in the cleanliness of the board...however, you're handing out E.C appointments like government cheese.
I think you guys had a decent concept but you didn't have the structure on lock.Kool's proposal is to charge these clowns on the E.C $2.00 / mo as a minimum requirement and force them to have a vested interest as well.
Listen if they can't pay $2 they should not be allowed serve. The idea here is to force them to take their job seriously and to contribute in a positive way and it's hard to do that when you just handed them the keys to something you just said yourself you invested thousands and thousands of dollars in. I'm not saying paying the fee should be a sole requirement but it should be a factor. This would force you to go back to the drawing board and re-select candidates, incidentally, you might find that most on the committee will pay the fee because they all have such a hard on for seeing to it that I'm banned.
At 2.00/mo with 20 members that's $40/mo and 480/yr total. You can look at it several ways...

Kool annoys me as much as the next guy but that's actually a pretty damn good idea.
I don't know this with absolute certainty and I can't speak for everyone on the committee, but from what I've read from other members of the EC, I don't believe anyone is calling for you to be banned. I'm fairly positive you won't be.you might find that most on the committee will pay the fee because they all have such a hard on for seeing to it that I'm banned.

I propose that the EC tells Kool if he pays his debt to me, he gets to start threads and post videos. If not, he stays pinked.

It's not a lot at all but tbh I'm not going to pay to visit a website ever, period. It's the principle. Kori and LJ run this site outta the goodness of their hearts, and we all appreciate that, but I'm not going to pay to talk to you assholes

didn't advocate charging for site use in the OP. It's a simple concept that if nothing else you should pilot... you can always digress. You're a smart fella...don’t let your ego get in the way of your bank account it should be all about the revenue...you have a ton of pending deliverables on your schedule.
- Clean the site up - pending
- Accept the advertisement dollars - pending
- Pay Kool a small flat fee for posting - pending
- Charge those on the EC only ( as I previously suggested) - pending
- Ban or pink Kool - deferred
Well, if we did what Kool suggests, then at least we know he'll never be on the EC. He doesn't have $2 to spend.
