I have been trying all the different fixes and haven't found one that worked. I was just wondering if any of you have had the same problem, and know of a fix outside of getting a new sound card.

Try a USB headset to see if it is just the audio port.

It works fine on my headset, just something with my actual sound card. I would really like to not have to get a new sound card, but this is bugging the outta me. My onboard sound is RealTEK, and they were saying it is a problem with that. People say they had fixes, but none worked for me. I never had this problem before either. It has only just started and I haven't added any programs or changed anything in my registry either.

Does your card have both optical and stereo out?

    I use two sound cards.

Sound Blaster X-Fi xtreme audio. (this is what I use for the actual game sound)

RealTEK HD audio. (this is what I use for my voice communications with my mic going into this card for voice input)

Ok, the Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme audio is what cuts out when I play the game with the sound going through this card. When I switch to having both my voice and game sound going though the RealTEK. Both of the cards have optical and stereo options. In the control panel I have those both selected, disabled sound effects options on both optical ports of the card.
