Will my Bruins repeat? (Doubtful) Will Sid the Kid get another concussion? (Likely) will Ovechkin flame out in the playoffs? (Spectacularly so)

    Post any/all hockeytalk here!

Florida Panthers look like they could actually make the playoffs this year...it's only been 10 years...

What if it's The Panthers and Blues playing for the Stanley Cup? Wouldn't that piss off Canadians, Original Six fans, and hockey purists?

Not really, because most of NHL players are Canadians

    I know

If some dude from Saskatchewan wins the Cup with a U.S team, the whole region will root for that team

Here in Montreal, a lot of children like the Penguins, because of Crosby (plus, he played his Junior hockey in Quebec and speaks French )

Very true. I guess that's what makes the NHL different from other sports.

St Louis wouldn't be horrible... Not a fan of Florida teams though. At least my Bruins remembered how to play a complete game.

St. Louis would probably be good since they have never won the Stanley Cup.
The NHL is finally stepping up its game for the playoffs and tv viewership. You're gonna be able to watch every playoff game because all the games will be own NBC owned channels.

Stars crapped out toward the end of the season just like last year. Would be nice to see them in the playoffs. Maybe next year.

So if the Canucks get the number 1 seed again and fail to win the Cup, where would they rank as chokers in NHL history?

Daniel Sedin is out for a while because of a head concussion - so we can forget about them
