Sprint is still around? .
Will go live in the first five markets (SA included) on July 15th. This will also conicide with their Network Vision plan coming to fruition so the 3g speeds will be substantially higher.

Do you still have your EVO3D or did you ditch it already? Too bad 3D didnt catch on. It still has some time, but it's looking bad.
I think its a good phone, I'll probably hold onto it until at least next year.
Oh and lte should be a great thing.
Eh, I never really cared about the 3d portion, but it is a good phone. I am not ditching it, my main excitement with the LTE switch being thrown is that our 3g speeds are going to increase by a factor of 5 to 10. I will also hold onto my phone until next year.
Is this why my 3g has gone to in the last month and my phone service overall. My phone kept say it was roaming while at work/home random places that it's never had issues with before.

You can see whats being done on towers near you.
I had a 4 g signal for like a second right now
Should be on now, can we get some speed test results?
so has anyone gotten their signal to work? I've been back and forth with Sprint and they won't give me a new ing phone
Don't know if this helps you, but the lte network in San Antonio is only about 20% built out .
I mean look, there is less than zero coverage on the north WEST side of SA.
on the sprint coverage site if you put in your address and click data it pretty much tells you what signal you get, and according to that i'm bathing in 4glte
Those coverage maps are to tell you what you will have when the build out is completed. The target is tohave San Antonio 100 percent done by the end of October. Go to s4gru.com for more info.

Sprint mentioned that one of the holdups to get its LTE network rolled out is waiting for fiber-optic backhaul to be connected to its network sites. Of course, the company also mentioned a very different reason: Birds. It turns out that some of the towers have become home to some avian families determined to hamper the uptake of high speed internet, which won't be activated until they migrate. We wouldn't advice you go with a stick trying to poke the nests from the sites -- we suspect the Humane Association is on the lookout for angry nerds.
Aint happening here unfortunately.
Damn.... I want and I'll do the 70/month. That's about what I pay now,I have to much hook online to try to get by on the free one.
wrong thread, I think.
