    Yes he will.

I was going to post on that thread about that FT haunting him the rest of his career.

    What a dumb thread.

Guy is still in his early 20s and has plenty of room to improve. He's already putting up 20 points 10+ reb guy on a regular basis so yeah one missed freethrough won't do to his psyche.

I'm more concerned where this team is heading. Nowhere good, that's for sure.

In all honesty when your old man is shot dead in a car wash when you 16 and you still turn out the way Kawhi does.. Its hard to imagine a missed free throw will effect him that much .. as evidenced by his Game 7..losing a b ball game probly doesn't mean to him.

If it was anyone else on the team other than maybe Tim then yeah the guy would probly never be the same again

    Don't be so pessimist man.

    kawhi
    Manu
    Tony

None of these guys were expeted to become the player are now/were. Who knows. I don't believe this team would tank..not in the next 5-6 years.

I'm not being pessimistic. Just real.

I'm sure they'll still make the playoffs but will become like Denver for years to come. First round punching bags.

My guess of the future is as a realistic as your guess.

At the end of the day, we're not even remoltey sure what would happen in the three or four years. How knows, Maybe we're even underestimating kawhi himslef..mayhbe he becomes a superstar who knows..

i could care less about the missed ft, as long he showed up that is all it matters

all series he had no problem going ISO and beating whoever on him off the dribble into the lane for a easy shot, he was blowing past them and making them

too bad the fkn heroes and turnoboli went away from him, just fkn pathetic

Kawhi and Neal will play important roles on the future Spurs squad. Danny will be shown the green light whenver he wants to leave, he will get overpaid somewhere but definitely not in San Antonio

    ROFL.

I'd keep Green over Neal and its not even close.

Let both go and get legit players.

The FT will either haunt him for the rest of his career, or it can motivate him to become one of the greats tbh. Some players just can't get over the mental hump but I don't think Kawhi has any problem with that at all.

Dude's gonna be something between a marginal all-star and a big role player, but never expect him to walk the red carpet. a 04-07 version Josh Howard should be his ceiling imho

He was easily the 2nd best player on the court outside of LBJ, dude was all over the place. There were like 4-5 crucial deflected balls that would've easily lead to scores, the rebounds he was grabbing were tough as , coming up with crucial points when they needed it, playing elite defense on the best player in the NBA, etc.!

He's doing this without any plays either, Pop doesn't draw any up for him, he lets him go out there and score his own way.

Josh was an amazing player back in the day. there were even debates on whose team the mavs were, dirk's or josh's. Too bad his career was pretty much decimated by marijuana could've been up there with his 03' peers like Lebron, wade, melo etc...

Kawhi will be an all-star in this league. He now has the Finals experience, going against the best player in the Game in Lebron and forcing him to shoot 45% in the series while being amazing on the boards and scoring 19 points and grabbing 16 rebounds in a Game 7. His clutch 3 got us close, but we choked.
