It's a bit of a cluster Manny. The argument has nothing to do with aiding drought stricken farmers. Virtually everyone wants to do that. It's about the bloat in the food stamp program. There were some cuts to the program and democrats won't vote for it. The real question is why are food stamps even part of an agriculture bill? It was a historical bribe to get urban legislators to vote for the farm bill.

It's called the 10Ms of additional people marginalized by your richie friends who brought us the Banksters Great Depression.

Do you really expect the worst depression in 80 years to see no increase in safety net spending?

Do you want these people cut just like the Repugs forced the cutoff of unemployment benefits?

Or do you agree with Heritage F. that poor US people aren't really poor and can buy their own food?

btw, SNAP pays about $125/month. Gotta pay for all the Cadillacs and bling St Ronnie says welfare people and the "young bucks" have.

uhhh...this is a 5 year bill. The Senate and the House both proposed cuts. Y'all keep saying the economy is improving. We don't need to keep the record levels of participation and funding.

Nobody is starving in the US.

I'm sorry for those kids that have ty, stupid, selfish parents.

    I really am.

But the safety net is there. ing people shouldn't have kids if they can't feed them.

You won't starve in the USA if you have any brains at all. Our church alone feeds hundreds of kids per day. God bless
