I guess there's like eleventy-billion drink combinations, I usually get a cherry limeade, but I'm wondering what everyone else has, any good concoctions?
This past weekend, I wanted to compare the Orange Julius from DQ (never had one before, didn't know how it would taste and the consistency/thickness) to the Orange CreamSlush from Sonic.
Hands down the Orange Cream Slush won, but looking back my expectations for the Julius were too high. I was expecting it to be more like a shake in terms of thickness.
why do people always overrate the orange julius? for me, cherry limeade, ocean water or orange slush.
I didn't even know about the drink until someone started that Julius thread a while back I thought it was going to be a mix of a shake/icee/orange juice and what I got was just a icee/orange juice with with more sugar.
The Orange CreamSlush has ice cream and whip cream to make it a perfect combo.

Do they still put the raw egg in the Orange Julius?
As to the OP, Happy Hour (2-4) Route 44 limeade with extra limes, drink it down about 2" and refill with o's vodka.
The next best place to go for drink mixes is fuddruckers where they have the touch screen.

Cherry Dr Pepper, or a plain vanilla milkshake is usually what I'll get, although that Orange Cream Slush does sound like something I'm going to have to try. Judging by your description, it'll probably end up being my favorite.
I can't stand that they went to this. I've gone to 2 different ones and they each only have 2 of those machines. When it's crowded, you've got lines 10 deep of people standing there trying to 1) understand how to use the thing and 2) what they want out of the infinite amount of choices.
And if you only want water or ice for your tea, you've still got to wait in that ing line.

no. The orange julius at DQ now tastes nothing like it did back in the day. It seems watered down
I figured as much. Probably afraid of getting sued over salmonella. It couldn't possibly be the same without whipping the egg into it.

Cherry limeade or blue coconut slush....then get home and through tons of vodka in it...its better then you think.
I go for natural like coconut juice.
