The Utah Jazz announced today that the team has requested waivers on guard Raja Bell. Following the move, the Jazz roster now stands at 14.

Bell did not see action for the Jazz this season.

He won't be eligible for the playoffs if they do.

I don't want him. I think he's too old to bring anything at this stage of his career. 5 years ago? I'd be down with signing him. Hopefully Benefactor is right - otherwise Pringles would try to get him.

Bell needed to be waived by March 1 to be playoff eligible this season. He is free to sign with another team once he clears waivers, but if he does catch on with someone he won’t be able to play for them past the end of the regular season.

not sure if he'll be eligible for the playoffs but he would certainly help the lakers in the regular season if they sign him tbh. lakers need to try everything they can to secure a playoff seat first of all imho
