If it were up to me, I'd offer him a 2yr/4M deal.

Id like to see what he can do with some discipline and mentoring. Might turn out to be a great player. Has the talent to be great.

i wouldnt mind him on the rockets because he has the body and quickness to match up with Amare..its worth it for that reason

Kwames defense really isnt that bad, especially on the p&r..i still want Swift though

Um since always..... Top notch athleticsm for a player his size. Very rare, which is why i guess he went no.1. It sure wasnt because of his basketball skills

what most people thought that who can get better then jordan for mentoring a hs kid? the guy is the ultimate winner and leader.
Just cuz MJ was a great player, doesnt mean he is gonna be a good mentor, coach, exec, etc. Remember Magic as a head coach?

Kwame will get offered WAY more than 2/4, and Washington will likely match if it isn't too ridiculous. They did tender him the qualifying offer.

I would love to see Kwame play for the spurs.
I'd much rather get him than Scola or Abdur-Rahim

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Kwame will go for ten times that.

    cuz he has the talent?

No, infact I haven't seen much of him because of injuries and such...

This guy did nothing comin off the draft, and he didn't want to show up for practice while in playoffs..

That's why I don't like him.. why take him if we can get someone with better at ude towards the game.

    No kidding! I knew that.

But, "ten times that" = 40 million dollars (as in $40M and done). Two years of "good behavior" in SA could net him $60M, easily.

    Won't happen.

There will always be a coach or team that thinks they can turn him around into an all star. 4 years in the league and he'll get paid on potential still

If he can be had for the MLE its a Low risk - High reward situation.

Teams like LA and Minny have no choice but to gamble on guys like this

    Thank you.

There's been a lot of "we should get Earl Watson to be our third string point guard" going around lately.

Thankfully you haven't caught that bug.

It will probably be Isiah that pays that much.
