Sons I was playing Live 2010 today and it made think this game is better than any Nba2k game. I think Nba 2k game play no defense and you always seem to miss easy layups. Maybe it is me. If you like 2K Cool but I think Live had better gameplay. Discuss.

They cancelled this game from ever being released. It was suppose to release in Oct of 2012.
nba live 08 is the latest edition of that series i've played. nba live has been pretty since 06 and i was only playing it after 05 cuz i was always expecting the next edition to be better (or at least as good as the classic versions like 04 and 05), only to disappoint myself time after time. im still playing 05 sometimes and find it much funnier than any later version tbh.
NBA Live 05 and 06 were the imho.
06 was pretty good, but 03 and 00 are my two favorites. NBA Live 03 had a really fast pace and was awesome to play with New Jersey since you could easily swat shots with Martin and Mutombo and since you could run like crazy with Kidd and Jefferson and then Kittles posting up at the three point line if the opponent guarded the rim in transition. The Nets were unbeatable on that game. Live 2000 was really impressive graphically for its time, and controlled so much better than Live 99. Then Live 2001 was terrible and 02 was so bad they never bothered to port to PC. 04 was too slow and the hop-step was ridiculous. 05 thankfully sped up the tempo and 06 was easily the best sim EA ever released. live2000 had probably the best dunk simulators, can glide tomahawk to the rim or under the legs ingame...

Who remembers Live 03' where the announcer had the gall to address Manu as "Gee-noh-bealy"?
Original NBA2K was the troof, imo. Always thought 2K's gameplay >>>>> NBA Live's gameplay, imho.
Live 10 was a great bball game tbh. 2K10 was horse but everyone bought into it because it's 2K.
Live 04 is still the best live ever though
