The golden state sucking is out of hand. webber was ridiculous as if he was still on the team. Then hubie brown agreeing with the offensive foul called on Manu when he was clearly slapped in the face among other bad calls he sided with the warriors on. Then that stupid meter alot of good all that noise did last night. golden state too!

ESPN wants to sell GS' crowd as much as it wants to sell the team. The decibel meter was annoying, but it's just a gimmick and the Spurs by and large made it obsolete. Webber's commentary sucks, however, and I really don't enjoy Hubie Brown either. My beef with him is that he talks like a 12 year old explaining every play after it happened to a 6 year old. He has zero creativity and his analysis of plays is basic at best. At least be a little colorful. Where's Kevin Harlan for TNT Spurs games?

Hubie doesn't have a bias - he's an ex-coach who has a history with the Spurs, but he calls em' like he see em' imo. He's a basketball genius tbh

The Spur fans are too quiet to even talk about a decimal meter.

Any team who goes against the Spurs will be sucked. That's how it's been pretty much every year for a decade ever since we slapped the bandwagon Lakers team out of the playoffs in 2003. They sucked the Suns, the Mavs, the Hornets, the Grizzlies, the Thunder, everyone. They will suck the Thunder or Grizzlies next round, then the Heat in the Finals. That's just how it is and always will be until Duncan and Pop are gone.

Notice how they have tried to paint the Spurs as the "Yankees of the NBA" to drum up fake hate for them, calling them the "Evil Empire" and when everyone who knows baseball at all knows people hate the Yankees because of their salary and buying championships by overpaying MVPs and CY Young and All stars to go play for them every year, not because they keep winning with intelligently put together teams and hard work.

I remember in 2004 thespurs played the grizz, coached by Hubie B. In the first round. The spurs swept em, and afterwards, Hubie was the most awesomely humble, complimentary loser (not insult) and gracious in defeat. He said it was an "honor" to share the court with a team like the spurs, and allot of other stuff. I wish more guys in and around the nba carried themselves with that kind of old school dignity,

I'm fond of his commentating as well. Annoying sometimes though.

I love when hubie brown is the commentator, he makes less "skip bayless-esque" statements and observes the X's and O's part of the game. Webber was getting under my skin I must admit. When jack nearly got that halftime buzzer beater off in time he claimed "oh that was good! He definitely got it off in time." Sounds like some underlying wishful thinking....

    Yes, I believe you are.

Manu's charge was not one, as the defender was clearly inside the circle.

Hubie Brown is awesome. That guy unlike so many other ex coaches is perfect in the way he can articulate the game to the fans. And at 79 years old he is still sharp as a tack..

I thought I was the only one who didn't like Hubie Brown, whoever said he talks like he's talking to a 6 year old is exactly right.

As for the decibels, 100-110 is all right, but not that good. Just to give an example, I was at the Oregon vs. USC game in 2007 when the Oregon crowd reached 127.2 decibels and that was with about 60,000 people; that's a recorded NCAA record. However, it was outside compared to inside. I guess the Spurs just kept the Golden State crowd out of it. The Sacramento King crowd back in the day was louder I believe.

Webber's loyalty to GS was puzzling. He played for them for like 5 minutes..

and was it me, or was every other playoff commercial just clips and highlights of the warriors.i would think they would want to promote a great even series....seems like the bias is getting more and more prevalent. its like giving a huge middle finger to the spurs organization.

They straight up accused the Spurs of "flopping a couple times" also saying " Manu is a master at it."
    isnt he??

Golden State is the flavor of the month, they're getting there 15 minutes and everyone will ride the bandwagon on whoever the next hot team is passing over San Antonio. We're not flashy or glamorous, we just play simple fundamental basketball

Accurate. Frankly, I'm not sure why more people aren't riding the Chicago train for all it's worth. Miami's going to win that series, but the Bulls have had a hugely improbable run behind really impressive play from Noah and Robinson. It's classic David v Goliath, and even with the Spurs still in the postseason I find myself pulling for Chicago every night they play (it helps that a lot of my friends here in LA are from Chicago). Curry should never go this long being overlooked again, but personally I'm enjoying Chicago's underdog story far more.

Webber was annoying, as he was clearly favoring one side in a national telecast. I love Hubie's commentary though. Its nice to have an X's and O's guy calling the game every once in a while. He shows absolutely no bias in my opinion.

Hated that sound meter BS. Its hilarious how every team that gets into the playoffs for the first time in a while has the loudest crowd anyone has ever heard. Such short term memory on these media folks.

Hubie is one of the best -- and an old ABA guy as well.

As far as Webber goes, he's underrated as an announcer. Not because he's that good but because his reputation is much worse than he deserves. He's not great, but he's far from the worst ex-NBA-player color man.

That award is conferred, on a perpetual basis, to the unassailably irritating, uninsightful, unfunny but thinking he is, Reggie Miller.

Hubie is a basketball genius and a purist which is why I don't understand his dislike for the Spurs I picked up on it during the finals in 2005 and he still gives the spurs token credit to keep his credibility but overall he will harp on the other teams great play he always points out what the other team has to do to beat the spurs but never what the spurs have to do to beat their opponents.
