solid question. if anybody can carry his squad to a le again, its him though. but the expectations on him will be unreal, and i'm not sure if this miami cast can survive another year of decline. his role has been increasing exponentially every year with the heat, at a probably unsustainable rate. and its not like any team with the cap space to sign him would be able to compete either. rock and a hard place

Michael Jordan retired because of the gambling/murder of his father controversy that would have killed the league(had it been publicly exposed), but apparently another major reason he retired(that people no longer discuss, since he has become a God-like figure in nostalgia) is that the pressure and unrealistic expectations became too much for him, tbh..

Lebron might be in the same boat..

Im not sure about Lebron, but if the Heat 3peat a certain poster is going to have to either honor his AV and sig bet with me or go down as the worst Welcher in the history of forums and be referred to simply as the Welcher unanimously. Or Junkan wins 5 and Lebron cries. Win win for me tbh

He shouldn't contemplate retiring at the top of his game. The East is his and the West landscape isn't looking too great unless a power shift via trade tips the scale. I'd be more interested to see how Pat retools after this season.

Wade isn't going to take a pay cut. Even if Superfriends gets another watered down championship, Wade will probably be out of Miami in a 2 years.

Only if a steroid test looms imho, in which case the Great Satan would have to go away playing something else for a while to escape the test then he'll probably come back maybe 2yrs later, but don't make no mistakes dude ain't winning no at all after coming back, without steroid.

Nope. Lebron should stay put. Everyone is going to find a way to keep the 3 Kings together. Miami is here for the long haul. They aren't even close to finish winning les yet. Miami will bring in at least another 4-5 les after the 3-peat. This is going to be a very long Dynasty, tbh.

Sorry, Daunte, but Wade is breaking down and he and Bosh suck without the Kang carrying them.... Kang's gone this summer or next....
