And by that I mean the Kobe who was a good decision maker; knew when to pass, when to take a shot and when to take over in crunch time (also played some D)

    - 1999/2000 Kobe - regular season and playoffs
    - 2000/2001 Kobe - playoffs only (chucked like crazy during the regular season)
    - 2001/2002 Kobe - regular season playoffs

Too bad he didnt play like that for most of his career

Kobe was actually watchable during the Pau Gasol era until 2012 when he started chucking again with Phil gone.... guy finally started hitting clutch shots left and right and passed too

I noticed that when Phil and Fisher didn't play by his side, he went back to that alter ego where he chucks 1 after another. It was very frustrating to watch him this season. It was like he was trying to feed the haters ammo for years

To be honest, Kobe was his best on offense this season. He finally started passing and made plays for his teammates in the post. If he wasn't such an inefficient chucker for most of his career, maybe he'd actually be a top 10 player had he been all-around before the last 10 games of his career, tbh.

Oh well, too late now, at least he went out at the FT line, where his s om had been manufactured for all these years.

I still like Kobe at the top of the key in 7, and you humps easin' on back into that Lazy Boy/couch secure in the knowledge he'd launch & you'd have a place at the head of the table.

    Uh, uh.

    tee, hee.
