i think both are longshots tbh... i see lebron going back to cleveland, and melo resigning with NY.
Lakers will nab a 30 year old Carmelo and remain irrelevant for the full stead of his contract. Lebron will likely seek a younger team, possibly play alongside Irving.
I'd be shocked if LeBron even considered the Lakers, mainly because it's a no-win scenario for him.... every win would be all because of Kirby, every loss means LeBron's a "choke artist" again.... also, the fanbase would always appreciate Kirby far more than they'd ever appreciate LeBron, tbh.... he's trying to build a legacy as an all-time great, not be written off as a sidekick in his prime by delusional Kirby stans....
Melo might go there, but at best they'd be the current Knicks with him there: an extremely flawed team built around two chuckers and run by idiots, tbh.....
They aren't likely to get either one.
