Brees has been impressive, tbh. But he's no Tom Brady or Peyton Manning.

Brees has finished 2nd in MVP voting 3 times in his career (2006 to LT, 2009 to Manning, 2011 to Rodgers). He got screwed in 2009 when they gave it to Manning even though Brees finished ahead of him in all of the major statistical categories. But he wound up beating Manning in the SB that year and won the SB MVP. In 2011, Rodgers broke the passer rating record and Brees broke the passing yards record, and Brees also led the league in TD passes. But Rodgers threw less INT's and the key was that he won a head to head matchup vs. Brees the first game of the season.
