"We really don't want to have any distractions during the playoffs as we remain confident that we have all the tools and the players to win the Championship this season. "

I disagree but I like the way he talks IMO

He talked about getting a day off during next year's Rodeo trip so I'd wager he'll resign unless he makes double some place else.

He seems to be motivated, smart and a great teammate. I know he is due a big payday at the end of the year but Id like to see the Spurs resign him, he has a few shortcomings but overall the guy is a winner.

It's important for the Spurs to recruit and retain players who are happy with the team, the system, and the coaches. And it's possibly even more important that they like the San Antonio lifestyle and the community as a good place to live.

At this point it sounds like Patty is OK with both aspects so hopefully we can come to a good agreement on a future contract.
