Won't matter since he's ineligible for the playoffs.
Will he sign with one of the other contenders or take money to sign with a bad team?
Won't matter since he's ineligible for the playoffs.
Too late for him to be playoff eligible. So he can't anyway.
Has Ben Gordon ever played for a good team other than that short period with the Bulls before they dumped him and got a LOT better without him?
Lakers.
Since he isnt playoff eligible some non-playoff team will probably pick him up...
Huskies
Does it really matter?
I guess I should have clarified, "NBA team". Nice one though![]()
Who cares. Not here.
No one until this summer. Bad teams are usually developing young players, and good teams won't waste time on someone who is playoff ineligable.
Just curious: why exactly did they wait to waive him one day after the eligibility limit? I'm no fan of the guy, but that just seems like a y way to do business.
If we signed him and we win the championship when he's unable to play playoff does he still get a ring .. Not saying we should sign him just a question?
They tried to reach a buyout last year, but no deal was reached. They tried again his year, and again, no deal. At that point, you do not do him the favor of releasing him early. No agent will ever agree to a reduced buyout if they think they might just get you to release the player in time at full salary. That would be the precedent they would be setting.
He was a the whole time there, too.

There is no NBA rule for that. The franchise decides, but I would imagine the answer would be no.

he's a cancer.
all world talent and an all world bone head.
Selfish and lazy
I think his talent has deserted him the last two years. Now he's just a bonehead.
Ah I see. That clears things up a bit. Thanks.
I remember hyping this guy up as an all star when he was in Chicago. Terrible player now indeed.
If the Knicks want to make a run at the playoffs, why not? In the off chance they did make it, he would have helped them along the way. Doesn't matter to them if he can play in the playoffs.
He'd be better than the scrubs they're pushing out there each night.
why is there a thread about a player who isn't eligible for the playoffs? of all the bull locks that are put on threads, this one deserves it more
His fall from what he was happened so under the radar, there was a time he could have been an elite 6th man and now I don't even want him near this roster
