It's always amusing how much credit gets heaped upon a person who has far and away the lion's share of the NBA talent to work with. It's like how the wealthy always win organizational awards (Sterling and NAACP for example) because they have an abundance of resources so they are treated as if they are somehow more skilled or better people. Nothing against Spo, but Spo couldn't coach his way out of a JV game, much less a Finals if he had what Pop has.
