Pretty lame-ass ratings to be honest.
This list should be fun:
PF Tim Duncan = 87 OVR [Incorrect Position]
SG/SF Manu Ginobili = 86 OVR
PG Tony Parker = 86 OVR
SF/SG Kawhi Leonard = 82 OVR
SG/SF Danny Green = 73 OVR
C Tiago Splitter = 70 OVR [Incorrect Position]
PG Patty Mills = 69 OVR
SG Marco Belinelli = 66 OVR
PG/SG Nando De Colo = 65 OVR [Incorrect Position]
PF Jeff Pendergraph (Ayres) = 64 OVR
PG Cory Joseph = 64 OVR
C/PF Boris Diaw = 64 OVR [Incorrect Position]
C/PF Matt Bonner = 58 OVR [Incorrect Position]
No Aron Baynes on the roster even though he's been on the team since January, WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pretty lame-ass ratings to be honest.
nba 2k is getting lame. I'd like to see some improvements in gameplay.
and LOL Manu 86 and Marco 66. Manu should have got 80 at best, and Marco at least 70.
its also nice to see D Rose at 92... Man this ratings suck.
The overall ratings are mostly fine. People complain about this every year, but it's not based on who you think is better, but rather who rates better in more categories.
As far as them butchering the positional listings, that's an annual occurrence (blame the official team websites). Changes that need to be made: Duncan C/PF, Leonard SF/PF, Splitter C/PF, De Colo SG/PG, Ayres PF/C, Diaw PF, Bonner PF.
I'm not surprised that Baynes isn't in it, because there's always similar players missing. It's particularly inexplicable in his case though, considering the fact that he signed midway through last season and his contract is guaranteed through this season.
The player ratings are reasonable, but what about the overall team rating? Are we second best after Miami? Damn well better be.
Should Baynes have a higher rating than Howard? I mean...you know...make sense right?
Matt Bonner's is way too high.
So, you agree that all these point guards have more complete games' than an in-his-prime Tony Parker? A Parker that was one rebound away from leading the Spurs to a 5th le, his 4th, on a badly strained hamstring and just won the EuroBasket le as Frances' best player?
Note: Taken from the Real 2K Insider blog which he does a great job with his own roster file and heavily critics 2K's questionable work.POINT GUARD (104)
93 - Chris Paul (-1) - 26.4 PER
92 - Derrick Rose (0) - 23.0 PER (2012)
91 - Russell Westbrook (+1) - 23.9 PER
90 - Rajon Rondo (+1) - 18.1 PER
89 - Kyrie Irving ()
88 - Stephen Curry (0) - 21.3 PER
88 - Deron Williams
88 - Jrue Holiday (0)
86 - Tony Parker (-1) - 23.0 PER
Chris Paul: 94 Pass, 94 OffAwr, 91 DefAwr
Derrick Rose: 88 Pass, 99 OffAwr, 81 DefAwr
Russell Westbrook: 73 Pass, 89 OffAwr, 81 DefAwr
Rajon Rondo: 99 Pass, 93 OffAwr, 94 DefAwr
Stephen Curry: 85 Pass, 96 OffAwr, 77 DefAwr
Tony Parker: 87 Pass, 89 OffAwr, 72 DefAwr
Of course not. Some of those are clearly indefensible. What I'm saying is, despite the fact that the likes of Westbrook and Rondo are inferior players, I completely understand them being rated higher, because they blow him away in categories such as dunking, stealing, rebounding and vertical (obviously not important things; but it's a game, so they can only measure tangibles), while rating similarly in the categories he rates best in.
Posted this in a 2k14 thread downstairs...
baynes being excluded is so annoying. i wish 2k would get their act together. how hard of a fix could that be?
Marco should be much higher than a 66, come on now.
Can't wait to get this for PS4.
Wow i'd get it that TP's ratings would web a bit lower since he seldom gets the respect he deserves, but to have all those guys ahead of him? Mind blowing!
Same damn ratings as last year
Tim should be a 88-89.
Tony should be an 88-89 after the season he had last year.
Manu should be in the 82-84 range.
Kawhi should be at an 85-86.
Belinelli should be at a 70.
And after the 3 point barrage Green went on during last years Playoffs and Finals, he better be a 3 point specialist in this one.
It doesnt matter
I would edit Timmy to a 99 , tp to 99, manu to 99 in my PS3
Manu should not be equal to Tony, who was a legit MVP candidate. he also shouldn't be just 1 point lower than duncan. interested ranking decisions to say the least
Guys, overall takes a lot of athleticism (read: dunks) into the equation. The Spurs have a bunch of players who aren't amazing athletes but have great skill.
Plus, if you play as San Antonio you should be using Pop's offense and defense to maximize the payoff anyway.
lemme guess kobe is in the high 90s?
Same , different year.
Diaw and Beli should be at least 70, Ginobili should be down to 80-82. Parker should be in the 90's, especially since ing cp3 is a 93. Parker gets no respect, only Westbrook has any business being that high on that list of PG's in the 90's. Green and Leonard should be a point or two higher, and Green better sink 3's easily after setting records in the NBA Finals for triples made. Not surprised they can't be bothered to even get the damn rosters right. They did the same thing last year with De Colo.
I think I'll just keep 2k13 and download new rosters from the 2kshare option in the game. ing 12 year old noobs are making more realistic rosters than these clowns. Sorry to , but this is so frustrating for me, I love these games, and the Spurs always get jacked in them. And I'm gonna totally blow a gasket if the Spurs aren't the #2 overall ranked team.
I read that he's 93.![]()
Pretty accurate, tbh. Patty deserves to have a higher rating than Nando and Cojo. In terms of overall skill, he's the best backup point guard out of the three.
