Curry, Cousin, Davis, Harden even freaking Rudy Gay is owning the league out there. And yet Kawhi think he is too good to join the national team. The struggling is not a coincident, Kawhi really miss the opportunity for him to improve his game this summer.

Now he look like a potato out there on the court, no way the Spurs is giving max-contract for this guy.

When those heads win something, they have their confidence boosted. It will lasts until they play the first game of the playoff with the real contenders.

Kawhi has improved significantly this offseason, as we saw in the open scrimmage and the preseason game against Alba Berlin. Right now, he's coming off a month without basketball-related activities because of an eye infection. Give him some time to regain his rhythm, and he'll prove his worth.

You need to watch again the Spurs in 2012-13 playoffs and the 2013-14 championship run then re-evaluate Kawhi's game.

Start with the 1st 15 min of the qtr game 6 of the 2014 Western Conference finals vs the Thunder.
