I felt all kinds of sad listening to that brother...he seems like a decent person he's just overly misguided. Only about 25% of what he actually said has any real merit. I would love for a white cop to pull him over beat the living outta him (which is likely to happen anyway) and then take him to jail on charges that he tried to take their gun...that's the problem....despite his misguided rants what he doesn't understand is that he's still lumped in with the rest of us no matter how much good he tries to do or how educated he is....he's looking at it from a micro level when it's a macro issue. He mentioned Trayvon which was a horrible horrible horrible thing to do...as if an innocent kid like Tray walking home to finish watching the NBA all-star game (with Skittles and Iced Tea) has anything to do with robbers, car jackers, and murderers...man when he said that I lost all respect for everything he said prior....what's really funny is how he's saying all this while wearing gang colors (as a black man) and with his hat twisted to the side in hip-hop fashion...this stupid ing dude is delusional and sounds like he has a community college education.....if one at all....feel free to tell that moron that Kool put his re ed ass on blast...
and just to be fair let me post my own rebuttal from a guy with a red shirt on....let's be balanced and get the other side of the equation.....once again Kool has checkmated ST's local racists....I'm just good at what I do...don't mind if I pat myself on the back.

The only time white people say it's about race, is when they feel cheated. Person of color gets a scholarship white person says it's about race. Person of color gets profiled by police, white person says nothing
That is a real Black man in the video. It's a shame that Black people have to be lumped in with Negroes, there is a clear difference amongst the two.

It amazes me that on a ing NBA message board there are so many piece of racists here. Half of you heads post tons of hip hop youtubes too.
Part of the problem is the "we blacks" mantra. Whites don't feel responsible for what other whites do, why should blacks feel responsible? They put up a front of solidarity, which means they own it. Then you have these black folks who are minding their own damn business, feeding their kids, going to school, running a business, all that, and some lint headed WSHH idiot tells them they are acting white.
Stereotyping is a problem, but it seems to work more often than not with certain stereotypes. It works so well that law enforcement, even black law enforcement, utilizes the data to decide where to put most of their resources.
You cannot talk to "black people" as a whole, because they aren't a geneous group. No one is going to talk lazy poor people into getting into the rat race to eventually get back to where they are, but without the financial support.
