I was just looking at how the Spurs have

played the most games of any team in the West...

Have been missing key starters almost the whole season...

Have played back to backs 11 times compared to 6 for GSW and 4 for Memphis...

Not making excuses but that's some rough . Maybe some of you need to relax and layoff the hate...

Let's win 10 in a row and get it to 30-14, tbh.

We might have had the toughest sched so far. Although we should have won more, it is what it is.

spurs will make a run and if they get healthy they could easily be a 5 seed or better
I see memphis fading and houston
gs is bound to go on a losing streak also

Not to mention that they pretty much were in every single one of those games until the end.

The league is ed if this team gets fully healthy.

The Utah, Brooklyn, Lakers games should have been wins. Can't give up games to lottery teams.

They lost gimmes to crap teams they should have beat, plus those two 3OT games hurt, but were winnable. It could easily be 25-9. I'm not too concerned but they need to get back in shape.

It's bull that we have played 11 B2B's just 2 months into the season. Surely you can fit 82 games into a 160 odd day regular season without that . Maybe we have an easy finish to the season, hopefully leaving us fresh for the playoffs? Haven't checked on that but our schedule so far has been . Coupled with a heap of close loses, 20-14 doesn't sound so bad.

The Spurs should have 0 loses in January. Schedule is weak.

Spurs: After finishing with a league-best 62-20 record last season, San Antonio has already lost 14 games through 34 games. ... The Spurs tied a franchise record for most games in December, finishing 8-10 in the month. The schedule included five straight games against teams with a .700 winning percentage, marking the first time a team has done so in league history. ... Spurs F Kawhi Leonard (bruised right hand) missed his 11th straight game and G Tony Parker (strained left hamstring) missed his 12th. Popovich expects Parker to return before Leonard, who he said will be out "later rather than sooner."

YES that is a BIG IF they get healthy, nothing guaranteed but if they do get healthy and so on yes I expect a good run to finish up.

SA played 18 games in Dec. Not to mention an additional 45 minutes of OT in the month.

29 games in Jan AND Feb.

Get healthy and get better now.

We have beaten every team ahead of us except Portland; A team we did not beat last year in the regular season, but pummeled in the playoffs.

Health was the major reason we won last year.
    This has not changed.

I would agree and it is what it is, but injuries had ALOT to do with that. Injuries are part of the game though, teams deal with them every year and so far it is the Spurs time to deal with them and they are still 6 above .500 so it's a decent record with all that and the schedule involved. I am impressed they are even above .500 right now, but the should be quite a few above .500 and they blew 5 games I can count.

We beat Portland twice last year in the regular season, we did not beat OKC last year nor the Rockets in the regular season. We won the last two against Portland and then whipped them in the playoffs.

If you looked back over the past 10 years and discounted the injuries teams faced, and only considered their full strength effectiveness, the landscape changes drastically. A team is what it can field, not what it has on paper.

No excuse losing to scrub teams like the Nets, Lakers, and Jazz. Both those 3OT games had some chokejob moments from the Spurs as well tbh. Injuries and fatigue have been major factors but the team hasn't played Spurs ball for a while.

Props to the Spurs for the record they've achieved. Sure there were some miscues along the way, but considering the injuries and the schedule, I can't complain too much. I don't think there is another TEAM if faced with similar cir stances that could have done as well as the Spurs during this stretch.

Thanks to the end of the bench players for performing their roles to best of their ability, eating minutes and helping us stay afloat while others recover.

Without a doubt it's been the toughest. The best part is that it's out of the way and we'll only go up from here.
