Bonner actually made some threes tonight.![]()
is back.
Good to see. Only problem is the starting unit, but I think benching Parker for CoJo and getting Kawhi back may fix it.
might as well trade parker.....who should the spurs go after
Bonner took a massive on Nono & ST per par, CoJo runs the Dojo, Mills is getting into rhythm, Ayres is honestly showing good improvement. Great Spurs win.
The spurs were the better team
Hopefully Manu will be back for Washington. Ayers looking like Pendergraph out there, Patty getting shot back slowly, Bonner coming through in the regular season!
Hopefully we don't it up against Minnesota tomorrow.
We STAAAAAAAAAACKED!!!
I really do hope that Mill is getting his shot back. Last night he only had two points going into the 4th quarter. Then it was like he got warmed up - and Wow!
A lot of what I saw last night in the 4th quarter was the relative youth and energy of our less-experienced bench players playing within a system they knew, demolishing a young and energetic group of starters who could (and did) outrun and outgun and out-iso play our older, slower, starters.
Thank goodness the coaching staff left the second string on the court.
This was the kind of game where you see the benefit of the bench getting lots of playing time within the system.
The biggest thing about last nights win was the ability to make free throws in the last minute.
Spurs got to that point ONLY on the shoulders of 11/23 3Gs. Somebody should correlate Spurs 3Gs points, %age with Ws and Ls. Spurs have become almost totally dependent on 3Gs.
Cojo, 1 for 4 FT in last minutes.
Well, that's the way the league works now. You aren't going to win anything if you're not a good three point shooting team.
