They won 5 les. Only a handful of teams have accomplished that and most of them were in big markets back when they could buy players. Can't blame front office for making a go with aging superstars rather than tearing apart roster and rebuilding. Spurs tried to get an impact player in free agency but just didn't have the cap space to lure a prime time free agent. Making the playoffs in the stacked west is not a bad result this year.
