Human evolution has already hit its pinnacle and it's going downhill now sadly. Every species follow that path and that's why they will all die out sooner or later imho. The most brilliant people tend to refuse reproduction so the quality of human gene pool deteriorates through time, and finally it'll reach a point where selfishness and greed take the places of loftiness and sanity, then the human race will gradually be eliminated from the earth by themselves.
