He's white and loves a black woman. Black men are jealous of it and white men shun it.
I'm not going to disrespect Dirk he is the 4th best power forward of his generation only behind Tim Duncan, KG, and Pau.
But no one wants to play with Dirk. This whole DeAndre Jordan fiasco is just icing on the cake. Most of the great teammates he played with and carried him to a championship are all acquired via trade and once they all hit free agency they all left. ( Tyson twice, Jason Kidd, Jason Terry, Steve Nash... just to name a few).
Why do you think this is?

Dirk has nothing to do with the team not being able to keep their players.
Cuban himself sends them packing. What does it say of him that he had a stacked team from 2010-2011 and he blew it all up instantly.
Props to Dirk for sticking around imo. He would have at least 2 or more championships somewhere else.

It's not that they didn't want to play with Dirk, it was Cuban who let them walk imho.
Lol no one recognizing an obvious troll thread. Look at those serious responses.
off Fk
This is how Free Agents and Mark Cuban see Dirk

that caption is perfect.
He's played this game for years on the Dallas Basketball Forums. Textbook case of Poe's Law. Whether Dirk ed his mom or he's just doing a bit, I'm not sure, but ignore the piece of . He gives me a newfound respect for Koolaid Man's trolling skills. At least Koolaid Man has more than one routine.
Anyone would play with Dirk. Most just either don't want to live in Dallas or don't want to play with the other scraps Cuban will find at the flea market.
Cuban and Donnie Nelson are responsible for putting a team around Dirk.
Dirk has done his part to get a good team by giving up money to sign
talent. It just shows that giving up money doesn't always work if your
team can't come thru with signing top players who fit...First step dump Nelson.
That won't happen because Cuban want's a yes man
Dirk is better than Pau tbh
You could even make a case for Dirk>KG
...would but the Mailman in front of him though.
nein ze fuhrer ist die greaters basketball, nobody measurese to ze greatness, all others obselete, sieg heil!
Probably since their last good draft was when they drafted Dirk.
If I recall correctly, the best free agent that Dirk was able to recruit was Erik Dampier.

Cuban built Dirk 3 championship teams though, and should have had 3 instead of one.
He played bad in his first finals appearance, then just flat out disappeared against the 8th seed Warriors.
Thank God, Jason Terry really delievered In 2011 though. Bout damn time.
Not my fault this place is littered with trolls. Is my point not vaild? Name me one free agent that went to Dallas so he can help Dirk win a championship. Dirk should have rang twice in 06 and 07 as well, but choked at the finals and to an 8th seed in back to back seasons.
lol wtf
Im not the OP or any guy from Mavs forums. Although tbf the OP does bring up valid points. At first I had Dirk locked into the third spot but the more I think about it...MVPau/Dirk really is a toss-up for the third best PF of our generation.
Chandler left the first time around because Cuban refused to give him fair market price.
He left the 2nd time because he is finished.
Parsons signed last year.
Ellis signed with the Mavs
Carter signed with Mavs
Deron Williams signed with Mavs
Wes Matthews signed with Mavs
Stoudemire signed with Mavs
OJ Mayo signed with the Mavs
Stojokavic signed with the Mavs
Tim Thomas signed with the Mavs
Kidd resigned with the Mavs
Stackhouse signed with the Mavs
While they are not huge names, many of these FAs were coveted.
The elephant in the room for mavfan:
DIRK HAS NOT AGED WELL. HE IS NOT EVEN BETTER THAN AL JEFFERSON AT THIS POINT.
