Top 8 protected pick. Which is fine. The top of the draft looks promising, but past the top 5-6 picks, the draft looks kind of weak.

So what's the deal with Motiejunas? Is his back fixed? Is it going to be a problem going forward?

I like the deal for the Pistons on paper. But I'd like to know more about Motiejunas' back problems.

Not reliable at all, but when Thornton gets hot ... he can score. I think he could on occasion provide Pistons what they thought Meeks could. Monty showed promise not sure what happened if it was all injury or confidence but I remember thinking they had something a while back ...

If Motiejunas is healthy then this seems to be a steal for Detroit. Morey would probably implode if he didn't make a trade. When there were no takers for Dwight he moved on to plan B, followed quickly with Plan J.

SVG is making some bold moves, you gotta agree with that.

I like it. He's getting some young guys to build a core around.

#Pistons have asked for 24-hour extension of 72-hour trade window to further evaluate @DonatasMot back condition, SVG says

Typical Morey move to move under the cap. Don't like losing D-Mo and Thornton though. Those guys are going to be something. Wish we could have just traded Dwert. Then rebuild correctly with some deadly three point shooting wings and a mobile big with range. Nothing is going to happen though.

Rockets are screwed this year. I don't hold much hope for the off season but I know Morey will swing for the fences and try to add Durant to compliment Harden.

Trade could be voided due to D-Mo's back injury

Back injury has Motiejunas trade in limbo

"The move comes 22 years after the Rockets voided a trade with the Pistons when forward Sean Elliott could not pass a physical. In that case, Robert Horry and Matt Bullard returned to Houston, where later that season they would become members of the first championship team in Rockets franchise history."
