    The Porker effect.

Probably a very small sample size but whats the numbers when Patty is with the starters offensively and defensively

Can be attributed in large part to Tim not being an offensive threat and Danny being in a season long slump.

I'm not surprised, but if someone had told you this would happen before the season (and that they'd be 65-13, with an 11.2 point differential anyway), would you have believed them?

I get why they've struggled, but despite it all, I still don't understand why they have to this extent. It's inexplicable.

Holy Mother of God. That's even better than the death lineup.

could care less about these stats - highest scoring teams have the highest unit in most cases.... nothing new or "advanced"

Iggy CAN'T check Boris in the post & Rush played well at AT&T. It was Barnes that got destroyed by Boris & wet the bed on the other end.

Iggy can't defend Boris is correct.

Not surprising. The offense has been underwhelming all year. Our two primary scorers aren't better than Curry/Klay, Bron/Love, WB/KD. And the supporting three players of Tony Danny and 40 year old Tim makes matters even worse. This team will have to be locked in 100% defensively on this playoff run and/or get ridiculously hot from three. I don't see GS losing at this point though.

    - Danny Green streakiness
    - Tim Duncan not really being an offensive threat anymore
    - Lack of penetration outside of Tony, who also isn't the threat he once was

Like I said, I get why they've struggled, but to this extent, it doesn't make sense and anyone pretending they saw this coming is lying.

Duncan and Parker further declining, nothing can be done about, but if Green is shooting even high 30's from 3, this is all probably moot anyway.

Another factor is that the energy expenditure on defense is having an effect on the offense. It's why the 00s Spurs often struggled offensively, and would routinely blow big leads and not be a huge a threat to comeback from double digit deficits against a good teams, just like this squad.

    Thanks for the numbers, OP...

Guess we gotta stop calling Lowry a fat PG and a fluke, tbh... he's been putting in work for a while now... sucks he still has like 2 more years on his deal.

With the way this team is babied, I seriously doubt that.
