The teams who gave up those crazy contracts won't be any good for a while. The contracts make Eric Dampiers look pretty good at this point.

Played well thru 1998.
About 50 mil of his salary came 1998 and before.
Also he made 92 for his career.
So the only total rip off was his Jailblazers contract.
Parsons has accomplished nothing remotely similar to Prime Kemp.
In today's NBA, Andrew Harrison (a guy who was absolutely horrible in college) actually gets drafted and plays 27 mpg on an NBA team (and to the surprise of no one other than Chris Wallace continues to be horrible in the NBA).
But then again this probably has more to do with the incompotence of the Grizzlies then anything else because I doubt 29 other teams would trade into the draft to get Andrew Harrison (or even draft him at all).
