We had Village Inn in Phoenix when I was growing up. But it was a pizza chain.
Right in front of Live Oak theater, they are building one of these. It looks like it's almost up and ready to go. They are a national chain and serve the breakfast/lunch/dinner thing like an I-Hop or Denny's. The menu looks pretty good as I have seen online. Anyone ever lived somewhere else where they have these? El Paso is the only other Texas city that has them and they have like 8 of them. Anyone eaten here before in another city?

You can't drive more than a few miles without seeing one in Albuquerque. Not bad. I'd rather eat there than IHOP, but wouldn't go out of my way if Denny's or Jim's was closer.
I had breakfast there all the time when I lived in El Paso. It's just like your typical IHOP, Dennys, Jim's. Their Cheese Blintzes are pretty good.
there was one in Victoria tx
it closed down a year or two ago
it was good
but dirty and greasy
Yeah, thanks for reminding me. Those were good; don't think the others had any blintzes at the time.Their Cheese Blintzes are pretty good.
I used to go there a couple of times a month in El Paso. It will do well here in SA. Unlike Jim's, Denny's or IHOP, Village Inn has a Mexican or Southwest flair to the menu. The skillets are really good; especially the chorizo and potato. Their pies are also great.
Much like Jim's, IHOP, Denny's. They're all over Arizona. The skillet breakfasts are good there, but Denny's is better overall.
There are Jim's in Arizona?
I think Jims are a San Antonio thing....NO???
