Caught me some flies.![]()
Oh brother.
Seriously, Kawhis the man.
Game 1 round 1. Not much can be surmised from this other than, it turned out how pretty much everyone outside of 'parts' of Memphis thought it would. If that. Number two seed Spurs at home in the first game of the first round of the playoffs, win.
Here's what you can take from this: Things are going as expected.
When kawhi runs the pick and roll and the ball swings...There's space to operate. He needs to be running majority of the pick and rolls. That's how you can get Parker attacking.
It can't be the other way around. Kawhi doesn't need that seperation to be a threat. Still pissess me off why Parker can-t accept this. He'd have a much easiee time attacking the basket when he's going up against close-outs.
THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the offense is INFINITELY better when Kawhi is running it!
On another note, Sir Hubie Brown is absolutely the best and most intelligent basketball commentator in the business.
Love that guy!
You can tell Hubie still remembers fondly coaching Pau Gasol when he was with the Grizzlies.
