preseason #'s 10.5 ppg, 5.5 rb
Ahem Ahem.....
It was difficult to tell how well Granger will do against opposing 3s. He played mostly at the 4 tonight, due to O'Neal, Foster and Pollard sitting this one out.
Most of the time, Granger had Marks or Horry defending him down low and then he was scoring a lot out of the high screen/rolls where the Spurs were late with their help. He also scored well out of transition when the Spurs didn't cross-match well.
A more traditional SF might give Granger more to think about during the season, but we will see. He is a pretty strong player.
