I have gold and silver. Stay away from coins but the bullion is good but often slow growth, but slow decline as well. I only use the metals to move funds when the market is unstable. I keep some bullion but just for novelty.
I don’t really know anything about investing in precious metals. But I bought one March 2023 futures contract and a March 2022 mini futures contract. And some shares of ProShares Ultra Silver Fund.
Should be a good hedge against inflation and/or a market crash. Also seems to have some industrial demand potential. Hard to see a major downside.
Marginally ahead right now.
Anyone else doing anything with gold, silver, platinum, etc?

Yeah buy physical gold, platinum, silver etc. in bullion form not coins and DEFINITELY not precious metals stocks, bonds, or "futures contracts". Buy physical precious metals.
So I'm thinking about buying a couple of these for the novelty of it.
$29.50 per ounce today.
If you have to struggle with the notion of spending 50 dollars on two coins, you're not ready for the metals game.
The only struggle is my laziness to fill out the and order it. It was seriously easier to buy the futures contracts
If you order them and ship them to me, I’ll Venmo you the cost plus 20%

Then you can add that to your curriculum vitae. “Trades precious metals”.
Sorry…that kind of means your resume.
That’s the thing you submit when you apply for a job.
I’d put it just above, “sucked weenies for arcade tokens”
