10 years too late, but at least the Spurs did SOMETHING
Thought so. I think they tried to trade for him but Warriors wanted to shed salary.
Well if he teaches the scrubs on the Spurs anything, it'll be how to pass hopefully.
Hopefully he's a good soldier for a few months, does a little bit of mentoring with Castle and the other young guys. Then trade him for some 2nds during the deadline.
Stephon Castle: "They took me fourth, they believe in me as the point guard!"
"drop dead and get over yourself, see you in 25-26!"
Good vet. Will teach Castle how to play point and set up Wemby with plenty of lobs.
He's improved young players everywhere he's gone. Coach on the court. He won't really wear out his welcome.
...now we have to cheer for CP3.
You better be worth it, you little flopping...person of basketball knowledge
*applaud*, they did something, they got darn did something, Wright and Pop made a ing decision, it's a little underwhelming, but gosh darn it they did something.
INC Wemby State Farm commercials?
NOW go sign Paul George and we're top 4 in the West lol
He'll still be CP0 after he's finished with us![]()
Keldon is going to give up his number?![]()
Cheer until he goes lame at end of season as he usually does.
Alrighty then. Hopefully this guy knows his role because he’s been a locker room problem more than once. Maybe since we’re so young it’ll work compared to a vet team that doesn’t want to hear this guy running his mouth.
Early predictions.
He’s not gonna give us over 50 games.
He’s cooked, borderline liability on the floor.
Also can’t shoot anymore. Was a mess at GS.
Narcissistic personality and ego may backfire.
He’s likely to end his career here a la T-Mac
I want numbers. Hopefully this is fiscally appropriate.
OMG I have no clue what the Spurs are doing signing this old dinosaur? Question will we be able to trade him next season before the trade line and if so what do you thinks he gets us?
1 year contract that keeps the Spurs' powder dry for the '25 free agency. Perfect.
