Tell me why the woke West European countries divided and carved up Russia post-Soviet just like they carved up the Middle East on artificial border lines. Just like how West and East Germany were carved up on artificial lines. The same goes for the post-WWI German borders. Why should Russian nationalists in the Donbas and Crimea for example not be allowed to coalesce a majority and secede from "Ukraine" and join Russia? Why should there even be an artificial sovereign buffer country (that happens to be all Russian speakers) called "Ukraine"? Oh right, for the welfare of the rest of Europe, neocon domino theory, got it!
