The whole team for Derek ANderson?
Read on Insidehoops...
Heat traded for Derek Anderson
The whole team for Derek ANderson?
Please say Udonis Haslem was part of the deal...
They dealt Gerald Fitch for DA.
Damn, DA sucks.
DA for Gerald Fitch. Heat get another guy who needs 25 touches a night to be effective.
I think that cements the Heat as a first round flame out![]()
Pop really got used by balking at that guaranteed 7th year.
DA showed him.
I think this is fitting as DA gets to play for Pat Riley, the only man in the NBA with as much loyalty as him. Did Fitch have some long contract that they were looking to move or what? I just don't get this trade. Of course, if I'm in DA's shoes I won't complain about a chance to move out of this damn town.
^ Who is DA?
Fitch is just a one year minimum player. So I'm guessing they had to have some sort of trade exception thrown in to make the deal work.
But I'm being serious.....never heard of Gerald Fitch.
He's a scrub guard on a minimum contract who barely gets any playing time.

Miami used their trade exception in order to complete this deal.
You were right Kori. Thats why I didn't understand the deal.
I can only Imagine Antoine Walker and D.A. on the floor at the same time, it almost makes me sick to my stomach
The Miami Heat are trading Gerald Fitch to the Houston Rockets for Derek Anderson. Some other players or pieces may be involved...

I just read that on InsideHoops.com
I heard it was Fitch and 1.9M trade exception for DA.
I guess we'll get details later.
Thanks for merging that. My bad.

Imagine how things would be if San Antonio had signed Derek Anderson to the deal that he wanted back in 2001? LOL
To elaborate Gerald Fitch is a rookie from Kentucky. DA just got traded for an undrafted rook..... wow
