True, only Miami can stop them.
Detroit will make the Finals without playing a team as good as the Kings, unless Miami steps up their game.![]()
True, only Miami can stop them.
Seems tragic.
But I think it is the one advantage the Spurs have in a Pistons-Spurs finals. The*Pistons have the depth and the talent to blast the Spurs, but the Spurs will be hardened and tempered into a fine weapon by the time they get there, if they get there.
Miami won't get by the nets.
Miami has "underachieved" all year. However, I think they are about what I expected them to be. Beneath all the hype, what do we have?
1) Total makeover of a team that came within an eyelash of making the finals.
2) Players that are still struggling to learn their roles, in May.
3) Riley's complete erosion of trust and team chemistry by hijacking the team.*
*Just a guess. I don't pretend to read minds like Dan LeRe .
That's probably good enough to make the ECF; sad really...
Miami is about 100X better than the Pacers; sad really...
Nets over Pistons in 7. Nets have the best chance, the Heat are done.
Nah. Nets sweep the Pistons. We can't even beat them at home![]()
