DRob said Manu was his favorite player and loves to watch his game
like robinson said ginobili is his boy
My pops really believed that David jinxed Manu.
Terrible.
Yea, that was funny when he was being interviewed. ABC asked him how Tim feels about him wearing a Manu jersey. DRob said something like, "I'll take care of Tim later on, but Manu is my man, he's one of my most favorite players to watch."

And Manu play his best Bball for the especial ocasion!!
That wasn't today![]()

I saw that and I couldn't help but smile from ear to ear![]()
Manu came thru in the end, the W is what matters.
Manu was subpar for him on offense, but it was probably the best overall defensive game he's had since his rookie year. He was everywhere in the second half.
Agree. ABC made a nice catch of DRob. I was kind of wondering the same question before ABC asked him.So, what would Timmy feel?

Yeah, did you see that airball of a 3
True... No one's gonna play perfect basketball for 48 minutes every game...Manu came thru in the end, the W is what matters
The important plays were the ones that count. Spurs go up 1-0 thanks to Bowen and Manu's stop![]()
Timmy probably has his own Manu Jersey laying around his house I bet...
It's funny because DRob's played beside Manu before, you'd think he'd have a professional stance, but he's sportin' the jersey loud and proud. That was so funny to see.
Tim does not like media attention etc. He just wants to be team player. I am sure he is still close friends with 50. Tim does not need a shirt etc to know how 50 feels about him.
Manu may not have had a great offensive game, but his hustle plays greatly energized the Spurs when they need it most. He got a few tough rebounds, a few calls to go as jumpballs, some steals, etc.![]()
I also think Tim had a little something to do with keeping the Spurs hungry....
Horry and Manu are our two playoff hustlers. The offense wasn't there, but they were hot on their toes today.
DRob is a stud.
Now that jersey looks fake, why are the numbers/letters white instead of silver?
Weird seeing DRob wearing a different number other than 5-0.
Are they silver now? They were white at one time.
I saw David walk to his seats right before tip and I wondered how many retired hall of fame players show up to their former team's home games in a jersey of a current player? David Robinson has no pretentiousness in him at all. He seems to have totally embraced becoming a fan.
David Robinson Rocks!![]()

yep DRob is and was the best in every way: great player, good person, great community helper, and sportsmanship

My brain hurts from seeing DRob wearing a Spurs jersey, but it not being #50![]()
Hmmm...wearing other players' jerseys at games. Is DRob now a "balla"?
I actually thought for a second that Dave had decided to don his old jersey for today's game. It was odd to realize that he wasn't wearing 50. But it was a perfect David Robinson moment.
