Big "3": Steven Smith (not the loudmouth...)

I've been thinking for awhile that this guy might be a good fit for the Spurs. He is 6'9", a good athlete with a long wingspan, a great scorer in college, and a good rebounder. It sounds like he'll be able to play the 3 in the pros (he played 3 and 4 in college). Maybe the one downside is that he is not a great outside shooter, although he can hit the occasional 3.
I was surprised that he wasn't drafted - apparently, he's playing on the Sixers and Warriors' summer league teams, but after that... maybe we'll see him in a Spurs uniform next year.

He seems like a good athlete and has the size the Spurs are looking for. I have to admit I haven't seen this guy play though so I really can't comment on his game.

You're damn right! I'm just what this team is looking for, son! Now that they've cleared out Washout Nesterovic they've cleared the way for a true balla to step in and make this team worth watching again. Quite frankly, the boring Spurs are gone for good!
