The penalty that gave them the 2-1 lead was a horrible call. I do not even follow soccer and even I could see that they were both going for the ball.

But it is the world cup. happens. Right now, US need
1. A European coach
2. More players playing overseas
3. More overseas players playing in the MLS
These all require a lot of money to be put into soccer. Kids don't exactly aspire to make 20-30K in the MLS when they make millions in nba/nfl/mlb.
